Technology

Welcome to the Technology Department of the Norton Public Schools. Our focus is to support teaching and learning with technology throughout the district. We are working to redefine and transform the way students learn and communicate by promoting innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

Brainpop & Brainpop Jr.

Our District subscribes to Brainpop for the HAY School and Brainpop Jr. for the JCS and LGN Schools. If you are new to these teaching and learning resources, take a look at the introductory videos below.

Student Email Access

Norton Public Schools is currently providing email access to students at Norton High School and Norton Middle School.

We believe email can enhance communication between students and teachers surrounding assignments and class expectations. Currently, student accounts are only able to email within the Norton Public Schools domain. This means only sending and receiving emails with others in Norton. We will reevaluate the need to open the email system outside of Norton on an as needed basis.

NPS email accounts are a privilege. All accounts are monitored for appropriate use and may be suspended if activity is found to be in violation of the District's Acceptable Use Policy.

Students have access to their school email accounts by logging into Gmail using their school issued login. All accounts end with @norton.k12.ma.us Students should use the same username and password used for Google Drive and Docs.

Please contact the technology department with any questions.
