Norton High School hosted an Opportunities/Job Fair on April 13 with over 40 businesses in attendance. Students from Norton High School attended along with interested students from North Attleboro High School.
Students had the opportunity to meet with:
- Local employers looking to fill both full and part-time positions for the summer and year-round
- Military recruiters discussing the benefits of serving our country
- Technical Schools and Community College admissions counselors sharing the variety of programs they have to offer
- Representatives from Norton Police Department, Norton Fire Department, MA State Police, and the Environmental Police to talk to students about what they can do to prepare for a career in public safety
- Students were also able to visit the Army Simulator Truck with interactive virtual reality experiences including flight and parachuting simulators
