Four Norton High School students participated and placed in this year's Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Ali Murphy, Jonah Ferraro, and Nora Platt all received Honorable Mentions, while Deven Becker was presented with two Silver Keys.
Founded in 1923, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are "the nation's longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades 7-12." Growing numbers of students participate ever year—young artists and writers, filmmakers and photographers, poets and sculptors, video game artists and science fiction writers—along with countless educators who provide support and encourage.
