Norton High School junior to receive bachelor's degree this spring

At 16 years old, Norton High School junior Christopher Strynar will receive a Bachelors in Liberal Arts with a Major in Mathematics and Minor in Computer Science this spring. In addition to attending Norton High School, Strynar takes classes at the Harvard Extension School, and a physics class at Wheaton College.

For four years, Strynar has been taking math, computer science, and other classes at Harvard University. By the time he was 11, he had taken the SATs, achieving a near-perfect score, and was taking college-level classes at Bristol Community College and Dean College.

He has been accepted into the UMass Dartmouth Physics Master's Program for next fall and hopes to continue with a future in physics research.
