Substituting for NPS

Substitue Teachers/ParaprofessionalsThank you for your interest in substituting for the Norton Public Schools!

We are always looking for responsible adults to fill daily substitute Teacher and Paraprofessional positions. Substitutes work on a per-diem / on-call basis and perform day to day assignments to fill positions due to the absence of the regularly assigned staff member. Our substitutes are paid $100 per day. Half day positions may also become available at the rate of pay of $50.

All offers of employment with the Norton Public Schools are contingent upon satisfactory completion of the employment screening process to include SAFIS Federal fingerprinting screening and CORI State background check.

Once all employment paperwork is complete, new substitutes will receive an email with instructions on how to access our online system, Frontline, for selecting open daily vacancies in our schools.


Substitute Nurses

Thank you for your interest in substituting for the Norton Public Schools!

We are always looking for licensed nurses to fill daily positions. Substitutes work on a per-diem / on-call basis and perform day to day assignments to fill positions due to the absence of the regularly assigned staff member. Our substitute nurses are paid $125 per day.

All offers of employment with the Norton Public Schools are contingent upon satisfactory completion of the employment screening process to include SAFIS Federal fingerprinting screening and CORI State background check. Once all employment paperwork is complete, new substitutes will receive an email with instructions on how to access our online system, Frontline, for selecting open daily vacancies in our schools.
